Indiana South District Vision Statement  
 

Indiana South District Optimist Clubs shall be known in all communities in Southern Indiana as the civic organization that do amazing things to provide hope and positive vision to “Bring Out The Best In Kids”.

  
     
Mission Statement  
  To achieve the vision of the Indiana South District with recruitment, personal development, training, building new clubs in every schools district. Provide meaningful activities and programs to develop our members, the youth and our communities.  
     
Core Values  
  Our Values are reflected in the tenets of the Optimist Creed.  
     
2009-2010 Goals and Objectives  
 

To increase the number of Optimist Clubs in Indiana South by five

To increase the number of JOOI Clubs in Indiana South by seven

To increase membership retention by ten percent

Encourage Leadership Development to continue to increase training for future district leaders

Increase participation of the membership at district meetings

Support club growth through better communications and personal visitation by district leaders
